Pickeled Egg
Pickling egg is good for cold season where you can easily grab food without cooking
Ingredients
- 6 pcs Eggs
- 200 ml Vinegar
- 400 ml Water
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 2 Tablespoon Sugar
- 1 large Onion
- 4 cloves Garlic
- 1 medium size Ginger
- 100 grams Carrots
- Black pepper
Procedure
- Cook the egg; bring to boil for atleast 10 minutes.
- After it was cook, run it with cold water, this can help to peel the eggs cleanly.
- Combine the Vinegar and water, add the salt and sugar and stir it gently, Bring it to boil or until the Sugar and salt melted in the Mixture and let it cool down to room temperature.
- Slice the spices; Onion, Garlic, and Ginger into desired sizes.
- Slice the Carrots to desired shape and prepare enough whole black pepper
- Gently put the egg and spices alternately in the can while adding also the Carrots and Black Pepper.
- Sealed the can tightly and set aside in a cool and dry place for 2 week before consuming
- This Pickling egg method can last up to 6 months.
